The Trinidad and Tobago Beverage Alcohol Alliance (TTBAA) is a non-profit association of beverage alcohol producers, distributors and marketers whose core objective is to promote the responsible distribution,sale and consumption of beverage alcohol products. The TTBAA represents the suppliers of beverage alcohol products in Trinidad and Tobago, and includes the largest brewery, distillery and distribution houses in the country.
Trinidad & Tobago Beverage Alcohol Alliance’s mission is to reduce alcohol-related harm through combating the misuse and abuse of beverage alcohol products and promoting only their responsible use.
Unite the T&T Alcohol Industry in order to manage regulatory and public opinion challenges; Demonstrate that the industry can effectively self-regulate to Codes of Practice to address public concerns or to remove offensive advertisements/products in a timely way with governments, civil society, public health community and consumers to promote responsible drinking patterns; Present the Trinidad Alcoholic Beverage Industry as being socially committed and responsible.

The Trinidad and Tobago Beverage Alcohol Alliance (TTBAA) is an association representing producers, distributors and marketers of beverage alcohol products in Trinidad and Tobago. The Alliance has developed an Advertising and Marketing Code of Conduct to provide guidance to those in the industry involved in the promotion, distribution and sale of beverage alcohol products.
The TTBAA Code Review Board will act as the determining body for complaints about beverage alcohol marketing and advertising which fall under the TTBAA Advertising and Marketing Code of Conduct. Although the Board will be established and funded by the TTBAA, it will remain independent of the industry.
We encourage you to make a complaint if you believe that any alcohol marketing falls below these high standards covered by the Code. But the TTBAA not only intend that our members live by the Code, we would also want the code to be a living document, reflecting at any given time the best knowledge based on new evidence on drinking patterns and casual linkages and experience.
